It operates in a either point-to-point or point-to-multipoint configuration to meet growth and specific application demands. 3Com SuperStack 3 Switch 4400 PWR Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch, IntelliJack PoE power sources, or other PoE injectors can supply both power and data to the bridge over network cabling.
WPA and AES encryption provide the latest industry- standard high security while WEP encryption supports legacy wireless installations. The wireless bridge also supports the latest 802.1X server authentication. VPN and VLAN support keeps network data private and transmissions safe from security breaches. Setup wizard software makes installation and configuration easy. Once setup is complete, the building-to-building bridge can be remotely managed using a standard Web browser or SNMP management tools.
