The KET-20 is a 2.0x telephoto lens that doubles the camcorder's optical zoom capability so that distant subjects can be brought in closer with much better video quality than the cameras digital zoom. The camera's digital zoom feature groups pixels together to create a larger picture. The problem with this is the picture becomes less clear and appears "pixilated".
