Based on 2Gbit Fiber Channel, the host adapter can keep pace with the highest performance storage devices, such as LSI Logic's MetaStor E4600. Leveraging LSI Logic's strength in ASIC design, the LSI40919O reduces the processing demands on the server for an overall high-performance solution.

This host adapter is designed in a low-profile PCI form factor making it the right choice for 1U and 2U rackmount and standard servers. The adapter has brought a new level of reliability, speed and distance to the enterprise focused on maximizing price and performance. The LSI40919O MiniHAB adapters host the LSIFC919 PCI to Fiber Channel controller. The LSIFC919 connects directly to a 64-bit/66 MHz PCI bus presenting one electrical load. The host PCI interface is PCI 2.2 compliant and is backwards compatible with 32-bit and 33 MHz buses.
