The Hornet 20 reads and writes to Travan TR-5 media and is backwards read compatible with TR-4 and QIC-3095 media. It is compatible with Windows 95/98, Windows NT, Netware, SCO UNIX, Linux, Macintosh, and OS/2 environments. It can be mounted in a 5.25-inch half height bay with the included rail kit or in a 3.5-inch low profile bay without the kit.
